Often, the speech recognition is remote based - And the better signal we send it, the better it performs.

Here, we hope you'll find ideas, technology or projects using hands free and/or mobile devices to make wireless speech recognition a rewarding and useful universal tool!

Just a little post, only because we were about to assemble a similar 'list' .. !

Rob Chamber's blog has compiled a nice collection of various articles, demo's and blog entries of Windows Speech Recognition inside Windows Vista. To date, our personal favorite is Long Zheng's video, but all-in-all.. our hat's are off to Rob for collecting great examples of how well Vista's speech recognition really works, and for Rob's attentive listening to everyday WSR user's feedback and thoughts over in the MS-Speech Group.

Unless you just don't want to smell the proverbial coffee, it's fairly obvious Vista will fulfill Mr. Gate's prediction, in the interview with ABC News anchor Peter Jennings,
"I think we will surprise people a bit on how well we will do on our speech recognition".
