Wireless Speech Recognition ..

Speech recognition is now primarily wireless; We've migrated fast, to universal wireless access-communcation devices.

Often, the speech recognition is remote based - And the better signal we send it, the better it performs.

Here, we hope you'll find ideas, technology or projects using hands free and/or mobile devices to make wireless speech recognition a rewarding and useful universal tool!

One of our team members received this a day or so ago. Curiously, several years ago we sold a series of 900mHz wireless headsets to NASA, and they managed to alter the units so each would not only communicate with it's respective base unit, but also with other units. Unfortunately, when we asked them for the schematic as to how they did this.. their reply was that it was technology protected by NASA and they "couldn't disclose it"..

Hmmm. How incredibly friendly and well-embedded in the spirit of furthering technology!

If you've happened upon this article, and have any ideas or know of a system that does this..
Please share it!

Anyway, here's the original message to our member:

"My company DanDental is working on a Danish speech recognition system to be used in combination with our dental software package DentalSuite.

We wish to establish a wireless speech recognition system that not only links to a central computer, but to other wireless speech stations. I found your blog, and am curious as to whether your team may know of this, or may help me find this technology.

Many thanks.

Mogens Moller,

DanDental A/S"
